Last minute gift ideas!

I don't know about you, but I still have a bunch of people on my list to buy for.  So in the spirit of last-minute giving, I thought I'd feature a few of the fabulous last-minute items available at

First up:

Hello!  Who wouldn't want to receive a box of delectable sandwich cookies in the mail, every month FOR A YEAR!!  I DO!!  Check out Tookies -- it'll make your mouth water.

Up next:

Beautiful, beautiful personalized prints.  I have to admit, in light of recent events, this one made me cry.

Not only can you buy her lovely prints and have them shipped to you, there is also the last minute option of printing it yourself!  You can purchase a .jpg file to print on archival paper at home or at a print shop.  Available at Words Work Prints.

This next one appeals to the photographer in me:

These are print-at-home onesie stickers for those cute pictures that document baby's first year.  There are so many cute designs to choose from!  She sends  the pdf file and you print them on sticker paper OR you can print them on iron-on transfer paper (you have to flip them around though, so they will face the right way when you transfer to the onesie).  I'm thinking a stack of onesies with these cute things ironed on would be the perfect gift for an expectant mother!  Available at MyGraphicChic.

Top off your super cute baby gift with these:

Well, a gift certificate for these.  But aren't they cute!  Those pictures would be even cuter with a little hat to match the adorable onesie.  But really, everything in this store is so, so sweet.  I love it.  Go check out Organic Quilt Company.

And of course don't forget that I have last minute gifts too!  Super cute gift tags are available until the 22nd --  maybe even the 23rd.

(shown much larger than actual size of 2.5x3.5")  Check out all of the designs at Melinda Bryant Photo.

Merry Christmas!!

Labor Day photo shoot

What a fun morning this was!  The weather was beautiful, the mountains were lovely, there was a scent of fall in the air, and these kids were too cute for words :)

Christmas in September

Maybe it's because the weather was a cool 81 degrees today, maybe it's because Christmas stuff started appearing at Costco a month ago, I don't know, but I found myself in the mood to make a gift tag.

It's 2.5x3.5" and now available on my Etsy!  It's 100% ready to be personalized with your own picture -- and even your own color scheme if this one doesn't fit the bill.

Product Shoot

Sometimes I get to hang out with my friends and call it "work."  I love shooting product for the talented women behind Nadia's Place, Polka Dots and Posies, and their joint venture A Tisket a Tasket.

I have to start with the baby bunny because she is overwhelmingly precious:

And here are some fruits and vegetables that any kid would love:

These aprons and chefs hats are too cute for words (not to mention the cupcakes!):

I'm a burgers and fries kind of gal myself:

Who could pass up a treat prepared by this little chef?:

And as a thank you for letting us borrow her beautiful new baby, we did a quick "mom and baby" shoot. Aren't they both gorgeous?:

Congratulations to Sam and Deb!

The wedding was gorgeous, as was the bride.  The reception was fabulous.  But the thing I can't get over is the send-off:

Shall we back up a bit and see what else happened?  Our story begins at the Draper, Utah LDS Temple:

The reception was at a beautiful, mountainside home with the most amazing views of the mountains and the valley that I have ever seen (we shot the bridals there a few weeks ago).  It was stunning.  But, uh, this is a view of the cake:

There was a fire about thirty miles away that added some mystique to the sunset :)

These two little cousins danced together all night:

This looks painful doesn't it?  I snapped this the THIRD time he did it:

Catching water striders:

And then, of course, it ended with this:
